BroKin™ Abroad International Group Therapy Retreat is a week long journey of personal discovery through mental wellness workshops, individual & group therapy sessions and brotherly bonding, happening on two amazing island destinations; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Cartagena, Colombia. For many brothas, BroKin™ Abroad International Group Therapy Retreat will open the global gateway to international travel and offering the first stamp in your passport, while affording you a week long opportunity to unpack the emotional baggage of your past while surrounded in love and admiration of other Black and Latino men who may have possibly shared experiences you have encountered in your lifetime. BroKin™ Abroad International Group Therapy Retreat  will keep you motivated, build your personal strength and work ethic, and help dismantle your first step fears. We will have real life conversations, on real life issues specific to Black and Latino men such as; Knowledge of Self, Black Misogyny in Marriages/Relationships, Racial and Discrimination Issues, Anger, Depression, Cultural PTSD, Inter-Racial relationships, Police Brutality, Death and Violence, Anxiety and Time Management, the Impact of Surviving Childhood Sexual Abuse, Substance Abuse, Sexual Orientation/Gender Identification, et al. This group is designed for Black and Latino Male professionals, veterans, entertainers, professional athletes and/or entrepreneurs to gain a greater sense of self and understanding from culturally competent, African-American and Latino therapists, Licensed Counselors and Success Coaches, who will provide unrelenting emotional, spiritual, cultural, psychological and professional support on your Mental Wellness journey.

This group will provide a safe space for Black and Latino men to tell our own stories, while understanding we are not alone and not to blame, when dealing with our past trauma and abuse. Group members will acquire healthy coping strategies to deal with the previous harrowing experiences of our childhoods. All group sessions are confidential and provide a protected environment where we are able to support one another during our time of healing.
